Blue Berry Moon Bear

Description

This painting was inspired by the secret world of animals. I wanted to paint a brown bear in a field of blueberries framed with foliage and insects under the full moon. Animals get to witness the pristine beauty of the world, unadulterated with the indoctrination humans go through living in society. They see the world with wonder. I wanted to capture this peaceful evening moment using my childlike imagination, expressionist brushstrokes, and fun contrasting colors.
